New year new (and final) branding...

At the end of last year I as experimenting with bold colours and striking shapes and illustrations. I have now decided (since putting my current logo onto my new website) that this does not reflect me as a designer nor my style of work.

Therefore I am about to redesign myself with the following factors in mind...
1. High Spec
2. High Value
3. High End
4. Traditional Contemporary
5. Simple Sophistication
6. Type, Image and Layout
(All these aspects of my design were talked about in my most recent tutorial).

Below is the now old logo on my website. I want to get my logo right before I start developing my website as I want to know my colour palette and general style.
